I had thought that Wave was the new Gmail, but now I see that Gmail with Buzz is the new Wave. I do like it. But now I am wondering where's the Buzz in Reader, which would really make it hum. Brilliant ideas, enormous potential, perpetual beta, poor integration, the Google model just wears you out. Re: digital sabbaticals. My first sabbatical was imposed in 2005 during a week-long kayaking trip. I couldn't figure out how to get my rectangular laptop into the oval hatch. Hardware incompatibility. Me too.
