Hi Heather - perhaps you can see the researcher in the head banger by the choice not to just go with albums but albums within a genre. Given another day I would have gone to songs from particular albums within a sub-genre or b-sides from hit songs from particular albums within a sub-genre that were only released in June of each year. I probably could have worked out some type of correlation study.

I am not horrified or laughing at your selections. I remember seeing the then 'unknown' Def Leppard at the (get this) Heavy Metal Marathon in the late 70s. They played with Judas Priest, the Scorpions, and Mötley Crüe (not the umlauts). Tina Turner...love her. Phil Collins...I like to play him or Dave Matthews at a party with a mixed crowd. Michael Jackson - very influential and all of us can dance Thriller (at least a little). Duran Duran, well what can I say. I did have a crush on Nick. Must've been the lips.

Yikes. I'm wondering if you were laughing at my selections and horrified.

I have to admit that it's hard to picture a Senior Researcher of anything being a head banger.
