Left: Your brain.
Right: Your brain at the Brandon Hall Research Innovations in Learning Conference in San Jose, 9/25 & 9/26/2008.
We’ve just announced our second conference! The theme this year is Get your head in the clouds, a message inspired by tag clouds. It’s all about starting to think about social networking and Web 2.0, with an underlying message about being open to new ideas and possibilities. It’s not just reading about it all but actually doing it. Of course we get together at face-to-face conferences primarily to network, see old friends, make new friends and have a good time. We won’t let you down. I hope you can join us! Two women keynoters! Yea, we rock.

Oh, how I wish…
Sadly, there is just no way it’s going to happen. When I suggest that I attend these conferences, the reaction ranges from hilarity to profanity.
Sigh.
Karyn – reaction from work? home? both?
Only from work, Janet. From home, I get the full support of a wonderful man trying to figure out ways to foot the bill himself.
would love to come, but not sure if it would be possible. Are you coming over to Learning Technolgies in London next week. Karyn & I will both be there.
Lynn
No, I won’t be in London this week. With the dollar in the tank and a new semester just starting, I won’t be doing much traveling for the next 3 months. Just one trip planned an just to Nashville. And then of course this one, in California in Sept. Have fun! You and Karyn should post some photos & please blog about all the cool stuff….you get a nano or ps2? wow! training folks luv swag…
Sadly, Janet, neither Lynn nor I will get the “toys” – we’re going as rapporteurs and, as such, guests of the chairman. Only fee paying delegates get the goodies, which is fair.
We will both be blogging about it – that’s part of the deal. I must try to remember to take my camera – I’d like to take a picture of each of the speakers on the track I’m rapporteuring (is that even a word?) on.
I’m really looking forward to this – I have been begging to attend this conference since its inception, but couldn’t get approval. If it hadn’t been for Don (Taylor)’s invitation to come and “work” on the conference, I wouldn’t have got to go this year, either
